Beyond The Noise
“The loudest liar wins.”???
This was the ‘shocking’ observation and conclusion of a Documentary/Film Producer whose work had focused on various Political Environments around the world. One, in particular, had been traumatic for him.
The reason for sharing this here is its relevance to Self (non-dual) Realisation, the realisation of Inner Peace.
This voice in your head that you’ve been conditioned into listening to, engaging with, believing in for many years is akin to that loudest liar. You will suffer from this belief in it. It may be mild to off the scale.
In a world that for now is mostly focused on and driven by this head noise it can certainly look like the ‘loudest liar is winning’ especially when you see so many deep divisions, inequalities and monumental human and environmental suffering.
Is this winning or delusion?
Certainly the consequences are visible for all to see. What price victory?
In truth, this is no victory even for the the ones in power. From a Self Realisation perspective this is not power but force, egoic-force. Of course, not everyone in such ‘positions of power’ is operating from ego all of the time.
World Peace begins with Inner-Peace. It’s not the other way round.
We may make many admirable and much needed external attempts to change the course of human history and its future fate, yet until this is coupled with truly fundamental and transformational change arising from within its effects will be limited.
Sometimes the question is asked at events. “What can I do to contribute?”
Look within. Make it the prime priority in your life. This doesn’t necessarily mean dropping everything else. It does mean being profoundly discerning about one’s choices.
Do you feel the call emerging from within? From the heart space of Silence. Follow it to its natural conclusion and then you will see… or, more accurately, it will be seen…
Liberation has always been available it’s one’s very essence. Eternally.
It may feel like a win but it was never truly lost.
