Life after Death

 In Self-Mastery

“Do you believe in life after death?”

This question arose for the first time at a free event many years ago and has in many ways since.

The response: Believe? No. It is seen, realised, known that we are, in fact, life our essence is that and it’s eternal.

Your essence is never born and will never die. That’s a direct pointing to eternity.

No need to believe ‘me’ on this. It will be realised or remembered.

Granted, one’s body will die. Your essence will not.

You may get some sense of this from the Law of Conservation of Energy: Broadly stated – energy is neither created nor destroyed it simply changes form. The added clarification: in a closed space. That closed space is the Universe in this case.

This subject of death is an important facet of Self (non-dual) Realisation. For the illusory experience of the identity-self (or separate-self) equates it’s demise with physical death. Yet it’s not that that dies in Self Realisation it’s the belief that dies.

Life is Death.

This is the death of belief and belief in belief.

The fear of death will ultimately be faced and dissolved in the infinite power of Awareness of Infinite Silence. Even if you don’t think (believe) you have that fear there is likely remnants of it still there. It’s OK. If, however, you’ve had a near death experience that will be different.

Self Realisation is rather like a near-death experience. A death of identification, attachment and belief. It will be seen that one is life and it is eternal and this will ‘burn’ or ‘dissolve’ the fear in the light of truth.

All of this is central the experience of inner-peace.

Would that be worth it? See what your heart says about it.
